Our aim is to protect your interests by providing you with the information required to a make an informed business decisions.

A Marine Surveyor can bring clarity to a claim or issue by providing up-to-date first hand information to a claim, specialized knowledge regarding the claim, industry contacts, and most importantly, the credentials and strong report writing skills and photography to properly document and substantiate a claim in a clear and concise manner.

    back to questions

  21. Why did the boat broker say we didn't need a survey? Why did they recommend using another surveyor?
  22. Many brokers are not interested in having a professional and thorough Marine Survey performed because they feel that any deficiencies found may interfere with the sale. Our aim is to protect your interests by providing you with the information required to make an informed decision.

Remember, the broker may be looking out for their client's best interests, or even their own interest's in the sale, not yours. While we feel that most brokers operate with the best intentions during a sale, some don't, or they may simply not have the experience to do so.

We recommend that you speak to and choose your own surveyor. There can be a big difference!
